I’ve probably wrote this a number of times already but some candidates still don’t know how to write a cover that recruiters actually want to read. The trick is to write a cover letter that isn’t generic, like:
Dear [employer],
I would like to express my interest in [some position] at [company]. Although I’ve explored many options … [fluff, fluff, hard-working, fluff] … I believe that my 4 years of experience at [some company I got fired from or quit from] will serve you well. I look forward to hearing from you and what [company] has to offer.
