So you probably already know what the format of a CV looks like and what you should put into a CV. The most important thing about a CV is that it is a lot more detailed than a resume, so you can’t just give a few bullet points and leave it at that. You have to explain your responsibilities in detail and in particular expand on your achievements so that the employer can get a clearer picture of you. Once again, a CV is usually only for the more academic or medically related jobs, so if the employer is asking for a CV, it generally means that they just want a more detailed resume. Writing a resume may not be that hard and so because of this, you’d think that getting any old job isn’t that hard. In fact, most of the times, you’re right. In some other jobs and in other countries, a more detailed job application is required, like a CV.
